Liz Taylor graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts with Summa Cum Laude distinction. She was also awarded the Porter Woods Legacy award for outstanding academic achievement. She has been married since 2011 to her husband Marc, and they have two children, a dog, and five cats (due to their cat addiction).

Liz started her career in healthcare management in 2013. She has been working with animals her entire life due to her mother being a Licensed Veterinary Technician and taking Liz to visit her at work since she was a baby. Throughout middle and high school, Liz volunteered hundreds of hours at the animal shelter where her mother worked. She was awarded a full-ride scholarship to college due to her grades and public service.

When not at work, Liz enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, reading, watching her favorite shows, listening to music or podcasts, walking around Downtown Savannah and enjoying its history, and discovering new restaurants.
