Dr. Drinkard grew up in middle Tennessee where he enjoyed volunteering in the local veterinary clinics during his high school years. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin and later was accepted into Ross University of Veterinary Medicine.  

After graduation he traveled to Colorado where he worked primarily in large animal medicine out in the high desert grasslands. After a few years, luck would introduce him to the love of his life. Only that love, by the name of Michele, lived in Alberta, Canada. Eager to expand his skills in a mixed animal practice Dr. Drinkard spent a few more years in the often snowy lands of Canada before he and his wife fell in love with Georgia after visiting family.  

Now living in Pooler, Dr. Drinkard is enjoying the varied and exciting practice at Faulkville Animal Hospital. Between his time around Savannah and home, Dr. Drinkard enjoys fishing, board games with friends and family, taking care of his two Old English Bulldogs, and touring the beautiful city of his new home.
